  1. While everyone was looking in the other direction, Iran has begun to allow the IAEA inspectors back in.

This is either a amazing olive branch, or enormous naivety.

  2. This is honestly surprising to me. Out of the US, Israel and Iran,  Iran has proved to be the most level headed and reliable. I thought there was no way they were going back to the IAEA after what happened.

A reminder that Israel is running a nuclear weapons program without any overview by the IAEA and against at least one UN security council resolution.

Also, I had no idea the US has ended sanctions? But that’s what the article implies. If that’s not the case, and they are engaging with the IAEA even with ogoing US sanctions that’s even more impressive.

  3. Does this also somehow tacitly confirm that the nuclear facilities were not completely destroyed like the White House Administration was so proudly declaring?

Like obviously if they’re going to inspect them, then there’s going to be something to inspect or am I just being silly?

  4. This is a deeply unpopular decision and is quite inexplicable.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this is simply a precursor to renewed attacks on Iran. The strikes on Qatar, Herzog being in the UK, Tsurkov being released, the pizza index going haywire, there’s lots happening and there’s no signs of slowing down.
