Trump admits he ‘couldn’t care less’ about fixing caustic US political divide

1. This is a working strategy for trump and his base. As long as he motivates more of his people to show up and vote then he and his like minded politicians can keep getting away with this.
   He doesn’t have to appease the other side. He bullies the other side and working hard with map drawing to hold on to power otherwise this turns on him. But honestly he just doesn’t care. The man has been falling up his whole life and has such confirmation bias that he can do no wrong.
