    Edit: the gps coordinates of that location are less than 10 miles from the borders with Poland and Lithuania in Belarus.

    Since those are tactical markings, Putin is probably going to try to close the Sulwaki gap.

  9. They dont have the military resources to actually do anything. They’re simply trying to put pressure on NATOs flanks to create a reason for NATO to hold onto weapons instead of giving them to ukraine.

  11. They just want to create panic. If I were Putler I wouldn’t go for Poland , cause that is Suicide, I would go for Latvia. The easiest target in the Baltics, large minority of Russians, flatlands, hard to defend after some kind of cover up, terrorist attack or something “a threat to their minority”. Taking over Latvia would cut off Estonia and would make the EU economy take a gigantic blow, instability, fear and so on. My guess is they would hope for a poor reaction from NATO , especially now having an Orange Clown in the White House and I think that it is very likely so.

  13. It’s a prototype, it was parked there to be SEEN with hopes of military sales to India. Probably had specification sheets and window sticker. They supposedly began mass production in 2024 but not a single one has ever gone to Ukraine.

  19. While this is one of the most recent orcish APC variants, this is by no means the most advanced vehicle even in the orcish arsenal.

    In reality, the BTR-22 is a low-budget-variant of the [BTR-82A](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BTR-80#/media/File:Interpolitex_2011_(402-41).jpg) sharing many components with its predecessor and very little in modern upgrades (*rear ramp instead of lateral hatches for passenger mechanized infantry, improved protection against mines and drones, better weapon system optics*).

    So, very likely this is one of the few operational pre-series variants that the orcish military placed close to the Polish border in the hopes to create the impression they can actually field modern tactical vehicles.

  23. Zapad military exercise has started so it’s usual for us Baltics. We are kinda always on prepare when this is happening Poland has also relocated 40k military personal to border with Belarus.
