Another NATO operation

On the night of August 10, Russia carried out a combined attack on Ukraine. That same night, hostile drones entered Polish airspace.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said the country’s airspace was violated at least 19 times. Polish air defense shot down four drones, and fragments of 16 Russian drones were found in the country.

In response, NATO launched Operation Eastern Sentry to strengthen Europe’s eastern defense, Secretary General Mark Rutte announced yesterday.

Today, the Polish General Staff released footage of a French A-400 transport aircraft landing. The plane delivered weapons for Rafale fighter jets already stationed in Poland.

Allied forces from Denmark, France, Britain, and Germany will also be deployed as part of this mission.
