DOHA: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has received a phone call from President of the Republic of Cyprus HE Dr Nikos Christodoulides.
During the call, the Cypriot President expressed his country’s solidarity with the State of Qatar and its strong condemnation of the Israeli attack targeting residential facilities, stressing that it constitutes a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms and poses a serious threat to the security of the State of Qatar and the countries of the region.
For his part, His Highness the Amir affirmed that the State of Qatar will take all necessary measures to protect its security and preserve its sovereignty in the face of the treacherous Israeli attack. His Highness expressed his thanks to the President for his sincere feelings and Cyprus’s appreciated solidarity with the State of Qatar and its people.
