21. You know, I used to think the No Child Left Behind Act was just poorly thought out and implemented badly. It never occurred to me that the Republicans pushed that through knowing how awful it was going to be for education. Now I see this was the Republicans plans. Make the population stupid so that they fall in line. Educate them with highly addictive slop on Fox News that caters to their outrage and racism. While the rich put their kids in private schools, they made sure the greater populace stayed as stupid as possible. It’s fucking incredible how well it worked. Now we have a whole subset of the population who couldn’t put two and two together that Trump is an evil authoritarian like the evil authoritarian that they fled to America from.
