  1. I don’t envy the next rational US President. Why put monumental effort to mend relationships when the next President can undo everything on a whim?

A new world order is fermenting with the US on the backseat.

We have learned about the fall of Rome in history books. Washington’s fall will be another chapter.

  2. All of this has been blatantly obvious to those not under the influence of US domestic media.

The decisions of the Trump presidency may take decades to unfold, but have nonetheless set in motion the events that will unravel the position of the US as the world’s leading economy, its role as leader of the international community and its global military reach.

I also have zero confidence in the ability of average US voters to piece together the root causes of the impending crisis. In all likelihood, the loss of prosperity and security will compel them to keep supporting the far right and enable the further deterioration of US democracy.
