Tehran – BORNA – Pezeshkian delivered his remarks on Monday, September 15, at the Emergency Summit of Islamic and Arab leaders convened in Doha to address Israel’s ongoing atrocities, including the recent strike targeting a meeting of Palestinian resistance leaders. He thanked the Emir of Qatar for hosting the summit and described the September 9 assault as a “premeditated attack by the Zionist regime aimed at destroying diplomatic efforts to end the genocide in Gaza.”

“This assault on diplomacy is more than a crime,” he declared. “It is a brazen announcement that military power, not law, now dictates outcomes. Sadly, the terrorists ruling Tel Aviv, with the impunity they felt after a similar betrayal of diplomacy in June 2025, have grown emboldened.”

The Iranian president underscored: “There should be no doubt: last week’s attacks on Doha were pure terrorism, proof that the Tel Aviv regime has cast aside all moral and legal constraints.”

In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

Your Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, esteemed Emir of Qatar, I thank you for convening this session. Presidents and leaders of Islamic nations, I greet you all.

The brazen aggression of September 9, 2025 against Qatar was a premeditated assault by the Zionist regime, aimed at destroying diplomatic efforts to end the genocide in Gaza. This attack on diplomacy is more than a crime—it is a shameless declaration that military might, not law, dictates the rules. Unfortunately, the terrorists ruling Tel Aviv, with the immunity they felt after a similar betrayal of diplomacy in June 2025 with the launch of a war of aggression against my people, have grown bolder.

Let there be no doubt: last week’s attack on Doha was pure terrorism, evidence that the Tel Aviv regime has abandoned every moral and legal boundary.

But let us be clear about how we arrived here. This attack did not emerge from a vacuum; it is the inevitable result of decades of impunity granted to the Zionist regime, made possible by certain Western powers. For years, the world has watched as a fortress of protection was built around this regime—brick by brick through U.S. vetoes, European trade agreements, and the paralysis of the judicial and international system.

In the past two years, Gaza has endured atrocities that have tested the conscience of humanity. Today, Gaza burns: more than 64,000 Palestinians have been martyred in less than two years. Children are starving, while the world limits itself to statements of condemnation. The International Court of Justice has ruled that the acts of the Israeli regime amount to genocide, yet the killing machine continues, now extending its reach onto Qatari soil.

A Dangerous Path

Excellencies,

We must recognize the dangerous path we are on. The Zionist regime in 2025 has bombed several Muslim countries. Each aggression is excused under the guise of “self-defense,” met only with Western double-speak and hollow condemnations.

We must also name the accomplices enabling these crimes. When a rogue regime consistently receives weapons, funding, and diplomatic protection, it learns there are no limits. When vetoes and double standards paralyze the international order, impunity spreads like rot. History will remember the guilt of those who enabled these aggressions.

We owe the Palestinian people—and all who believe in justice—two things: clarity and action.

Clarity requires stating that the crimes of the Zionist regime are not isolated mistakes; they are part of a doctrine of domination, cleansing, and terror—a strategy of ethnic cleansing, expansion, and aggression, strengthened by the complicity of the United States and certain European states.

Action requires isolating the aggressor, cutting off its weapons and funding, and bringing its leaders before courts of justice. Words alone will not stop genocide.

But such action will not succeed without unity. The Zionist regime has counted on our rivalries and divisions. The attack on Doha has shattered many illusions—it has proven that no Arab or Muslim country is immune. Tomorrow it could be any of our capitals. The choice is clear: we must unite. As the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) declared at the Conquest of Mecca: “The Muslims are but brothers. The Muslim is a brother to his fellow Muslim, and they are as one hand against others.”

Awakening of the Islamic Ummah

Excellencies,

Let the Zionist regime and its supporters know: the attack on Doha was not a sign of strength but of despair. A confident regime does not bomb negotiators. You have crossed every red line, ignored every law, and violated every norm of civilized conduct. Yet you have unwittingly done something else—you have awakened the collective will of the Islamic Ummah.

Your false victimhood has worn thin. The world sees, records, and remembers. The Zionist regime has declared war on our sovereignty, dignity, and future. Our answer is clear: we will not be intimidated, we will not be divided, and we will not remain silent.

From the ashes of Gaza, justice will rise. From the rubble of Doha, Beirut, Tehran, Damascus, and Sana’a, a new order will emerge—not one built on hypocrisy, but on Islamic unity; not on Zionist supremacy, but on brotherhood and human equality.

As the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) warned: “Whoever hears a man crying out for help to the Muslims and does not answer him is not a Muslim. Whoever wakes without concern for the affairs of Muslims is not one of them.”

The time has come to begin accountability and justice for the aggressors.

Thank you.
