WWII German artillery fuses in the use of Russian army. Probably, supplied to USSR in 1930s or trophied in 1940s after WWII

  1. First u use all the old stuff, so soon we gonna see russia really start conquering because off the modern stuff being used.

Disclaimer; this was sarcasm, mocking russia. It was a joke.

  2. A remnant of past neither russians nor germans want to remember. They collaborated since the treaty of rapallo up almost to barbarossa.

  3. absolutely ridiculous to what extent they go to cause pain to Ukraine and the west

  4. Russia: We will push the “Nazis” out of Ukraine

also Russia: Uses equipment they have from the Nazis

  5. This is getting more and more stupid every day from the ork side of the war.
Lets hope the rioting starts soon in ork land!

  6. That looks to be in pristine condition, pretty remarkable!

I wonder if they still function correctly after all these years

  7. Literal nazis using literal nazi ammo, figures…

  8. It is highly unlikely that anyone would be using 80 year old fuses in modern weapons. The fuses would be very much unstable from a chemical point of view and unreliable from a mechanical point of view. I also don’t see the russians refurbishing the outer shell as it must be easier to manufacture a new one. This “news” seems to be one of those manufactured, rather than real.

  9. Whats the source on this? This seems pretty unlikely, even for the ruZZians. Those things should be barely usable after this time

  10. Its like the world never came out of the post war stage of WWII. Stg44 and StuG III used in the Syrian Civil war, lots of WWII (and even WWI) stuff used in the Russia-Ukraine War.

And not only equipment wise but also politics. Only the sides have switched.

  11. They must have reached the bottom of any stockpile they ever had when almost 100 year old parts come out. Good news is that after they used up this stuff, there really can’t be anything left. Fuses from WWI probably won’t fit Russian shells anymore.

  12. Tell us you have a desperate army without actually telling us that

  13. That stuff belongs to the museum not on the fckin battlefield, wtf.

  14. look at the shadow of the letters in detail, compare them, after that conclude. Apart from the cross being strangely inaccurate which has nothing to do with age of a fuse.

  15. there must be ordnance officers crawling through abandoned warehouses at this point.

  16. I would be surprised if these fuses even work

But by looking at their condition it appears they were stored properly

  17. Knowing how ruZZians do maintenance, I wouldn’t be handling that if it was me

  18. I mean they are still leaps and bounds ahead in terms of quallity even If old than anything russia can produce. Unfortunatly that is Kind If upgrade.

  19. Jesus wept! Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel. Wow.

I have this ancient, WW2 surplus Mosin-Nagant rifle that still works. I feel like I’m gonna get a letter from the Kremlin asking to buy it, “Dear sir or madam, we hope this letter finds you well…”

  20. Hahaha wtf, they‘re looting museums for this invasion.
    Ruzzia scum

  21. So special operation to combat NAZIs is now using literal NAZI admonition?? Wow!

  22. Or Russian artillery fuse manufacturers never bothered to update their dating system when they reactivated old machines?

  23. The Soviets carted entire German factories from what became East Germany back to the Soviet Union. And looted and stole whatever they could find as a form of war reparations. Besides committing a few million rapes along the way. So, one of the warehouses looted must have had boxes of these fuses in it and they are being used almost a century later. It’s kinda funny, kinda truly pathetic, and kinda historically interesting all at the sake time.

  24. This would only be even more ironic if it was Israel using them

  25. I have a drawer full of cables, cords, and screws, just in case. You never know when 80 years in the future, you might need a coax cable for something….
