The issue of the hostages held by Hamas in Gaza is mentioned every day in hundreds of articles, news stories, statements and social media posts, most of which are a complete waste of time and energy. After more than 700 days of captivity and suffering for them and their families, what more can be said? This situation is the greatest failure in the history of any Israeli government, and yet, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the extremists in his cabinet are in no rush to resolve it.
