Lough Erne had the biggest lake title stolen since then. Looks massive on this map.
Looks like Galway got a good punch in the nose
Big old Irish head on the island
The Bayo of Knokfergus! Yeooooo!
🗿
We’ve all felt like that at some point.
There are actually sandbanks where the 3 long islands off the east coast are… I wonder if they might have been above water in the past (seems weird to mark sandbanks on a map like this?)
But then again, it is a kinda shite map anyway
🗿
Anyone know where I could get a good quality print of this map?

Where could one buy a decent quality print of this?
And also, any explanation of the places, text etc?
They got Lough Neagh the wrong colour, should be green.

The wee koala before it went on a diet
Looks like an Easter Island head.
this is cool, and Newry Carlingford and Bangor are named but Ican’t see Belfast.
Is Newcastle north of Belfast in it?
Newcastel, the word is broken by the water.
Why has the island changed shape so much?
Looks like Scotland is about to gobble us up
Ardglass is always in these old maps.
There is a place there that is called Bolocks or something like that.
Based on a giant spud!
That algae problem is obviously not a recent phenomenon..
