  16. These hack journalists need to stop taking random people’s Twitter posts to come up with a story. Unless these journalists come up with real data on how many subscribers have left, this is just pushing a narrative. Social media posts by random people should not create a news story.

    Netflix is probably next but my whole family uses the account so I might leave it for now.

  18. What’s the amount in “droves”. All I got in the article was that it was base off of accounts posting online, which a bot farm can eclipse easily.

  23. My wife and I have a 7 year old and a 3 year old. We hesitated at first, because Disney+ is such a vault of kids content. But after thinking about it for a moment, we said “Eh, fuck it. We can use it as a teaching moment for the 7YO” and hit unsub.

    As far as I’m cocnerned, treat Disney like we did Target. Tank ’em.

  24. I wish people had the anti Disney energy for Nexstar and Sinclair, who drove this. Boycott ALL their affiliates. Especially ultra right wing Sinclair. They’re the ones who wouldn’t air the show. Sinclair extorting Kimmel for a donation to TPUSA and airing a Kirk special tonight in his time slot.

    And especially for paramount which caved on the 60 minutes lawsuit and paid millions and yanked Colbert to get their merger. Plus have installed a speech guardian across the network. No paramount, cbs (the most watched big four network). Don’t watch cbs shows on any platform.

  29. I have Hulu for free as part of my mobile plan but I just canceled and deleted the account. Deleted account for Hulu and Disney.

    All of these show up as metrics and data that these businesses track to measure their success and business metrics.

  32. Disney+, Hulu and ESPN Canceled.

    Season Pass is paid for and have a couple more months before it expires, I will use it, I am making sure not to spend a single extra dollar at the park.

    This was bullshit, and the worst thing we can do is nothing.
