  3. I love you Conan but no. It was mainly a financial decision. In this political climate, his remarks and attitude was probably the final nail in the coffin.

  6. It’s doesn’t disturb republicans. Makes me wonder if this was on the other side of the political device, would we be up in arms? If someone was canned in Fox News for saying something defamatory about Obama for instance, I bet we’d be happy about it.

  7. Conan has been my go to calming place since the election. I used to fall asleep to MSNBC. After the election I realized I needed a long long break from cable news and my go to was Conan’s podcast and SiriusXM channel. He was absolutely what I needed. Still hilarious, great interviewer and conversationalist, and brought some nostalgia from when I would watch Late Night back in high school/college.

  14. I think it boils down to Kimmel’s boss was unhappy with him, and fired his ass!

  15. What was wrong was Kimmel trying to gaslight everyone into believing that Charlie Kirk’s assasin was some MAGA supporter.

    And most of the time you could brush off such comments as politically driven propaganda, except the FCC has an explicit rule against purposefully broadcasting fraudulent items relating to a crime which may cause harm to the public.

    I dont know what drove Kimmel to try to take such a rediculous and indefensible stand, but he shot himself in the foot, and only has himself to blame.
