Jimmy Kimmel Out : Schumer’s Double Standard: Protect Kimmel, Cancel Tucker?

Jimmy Kimmel is off the air because of the ridiculous things he said about the death of Charlie Kirk. Chuck Schumer has responded to this. I’m going to show you two pieces of video. One from today, one from 2023. The one from today, he’s talking about his love of free speech and this is a horrible thing to take Jimmy Kimmel off the air. Afterwards, you’ve got to see what he said about Tucker Carlson. Senator Schumer, your reaction to this? It is outrageous. It’s a page right out of she’s playbook. This is just despicable. disgusting and against democratic values. Trump and his allies seem to want to shut down speech that they don’t like to hear. That is not what democracies do. That is what autocracies do. And it doesn’t matter whether you agree with Kimmel or not. He has the right to free speech. And so it is just outrageous. It is indicative of autocracy. And I am just outraged by it. He’s outraged by it. He can’t believe it. Jimmy Kimmel deserves to say anything he wants and to keep a network job. Oh, this is Chuck Schumer in 2023. These lies continue tonight. Rupert Murdoch, who has admitted they were lies and said he regretted it, has a special obligation to stop Tucker Carlson from going on tonight now that he’s seen how he has perverted what and slimed the truth. But but but and from letting them go on again and again and again. Not because their views deserve such approprium, but because our democracy depends on it. Let’s check the scorecard. Jimmy Kimmel has to be on the air to protect democracy. Tucker Carlson has to be off the air to protect democracy. Those two can’t coincide. They can’t live together in the same so-called democracy. Bottom line is we have the absolute right given by God to say what we want. We don’t have the right to have a network television show. Schumer knows he’s all wet. He just thinks you’re stupid. Make sure you spread this around everywhere. Come on.

  14. Democracy/Autocracy = same/same! It's mob rule with no area of life off limits, either way you look at it. Which, Chuck, is why our Founders set up a REPUBLIC, to limit gub'mint's reach into our private lives.

    (It's almost fun trying to educate someone who has made a career out of not understanding how gub'mint works, like the time he said there are three branches of government – the President, the House, and the Senate. 🤦‍♀️)
