Today, developer Keepsake Games announced that their cooperative PvE space adventure game ‘Jump Space’ saw 130K players join within the game’s first twenty-four hours post-launch. Not only were they quite pleased with the number of players, but they were also able to guarantee the roadmap they’ve put in place for their new Early Access title. Per the recent Discord announcement:

Jump Space has launched!
We’re beyond excited to share that just in the first 24 hours, over 130 000 Atirans have joined the resistance! Well done Atirans!

That incredible support means we can guarantee the roadmap we’ve set out: all the features, updates, and polish we’ve been dreaming of for Early Access are locked in.

We’re also carefully reading your feedback and are already busy working on fixes for crashes, bugs, and rough edges. Your reports are helping us steer the ship in the right direction. If you want to be extra helpful, please enable the in game telemetry (Options → Privacy → Telemetry Setting). We just released a patch on Steam fixing a crash when playing in Japanese/Ukrainian/Russian (and some other fixes too)

As for the Xbox players: we have a patch in the pipe for you as well coming in a few days. Hopefully the patch will mitigate most of your crashes. We’ll continue monitoring how it performs. Sorry about that.

This is just the beginning of the journey. The ship is flying, and with you aboard, we’re ready to chart the course ahead!
From all of us Keepsake: Thank you!

This post also highlights upcoming patch details, which include fixes for crashes and the like. If you’d like to help the developers better diagnose problems, follow the instructions in the quote above to enable telemetry.

Now we’re big fans of Jump Space—at least, the head of our site, Jon, is. Do check out his review-in-progress of the game right over here and check out the video review above. Plus, we’ve an interview with the developers that you can read by going right this way. Jump Space is available on PC via Steam and Xbox PC via both platforms’ Early Access programmes.
