India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav trolled Pakistan after the Men in Blue secured a win by six wickets over them in the Asia Cup 2025 Super 4s match played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, September 21. While speaking to reporters during the post-match press conference, 35-year-old Surya said that India-Pakistan is not a rivalry anymore, as India have won more matches against their arch-rivals.
“You guys should stop asking about the rivalry. If the two teams are playing 15-20 games & the scoreline is 7-7 or 8-7, then it is called rivalry. If the scoreline is 10-1 or 13-0, I don’t know the exact number, but this is not a rivalry anymore,” Surya said.
In the T20I format of the Asia Cup, India have won four out of five matches played so far against Pakistan, and in T20Is, India have won 12 out of 15 fixtures played so far.
