Zelensky: Peace deal with Russia ‘may never happen’

1. Zelensky has said that a peace deal with Russia may never happen.

   The ‘controversial’ comment comes just days’ after the head of the Ukrainian regime requested an additional $60 billion to continue his war effort, telling Eurocrats that ‘it’s impossible to continue otherwise’.

   Russia has offered Ukraine a comprehensive peace deal that would ensure an end to the hostilities, a deal that takes into account the ‘root issues’ of the crisis. It has, so far, been rejected.

   Analysis:

   What this means: It’s clear that a ‘perpetual conflict’ (in other words, a ceasefire, but w/o a actual settlement) with Russia would be in the interests of both the Kiev junta, & the Western establishment. It would not be a suitable outcome for Russia, Ukrainian people, and the West’s ordinary citizens.

   it is, however, unlikely the Russian Federation would accept a solution along those lines.

2. The only option for Zelensky is to drag whoever he can into war.

   He is literally using his country as a bait.

3. OP is a literal mouthpiece of Russian state media. They will never criticize the war because that is illegal speech in Russia. They will never criticize President Putin, as that is illegal speech in Russia. They will only ever frame the conflict in state-approved terms; that is to say, Russia is both the victim and the powerful aggressor, that Russian minorities are at risk and that they live alongside Ukrainian Nazis, ergo the entire region must be sundered by Iranian bombs. Anything that survives must be raped and tortured to death by the valiant regime heroes who were so noble that they volunteered to fight for love of country and no other motive.

5. Well there was a chance previously but with Russia gaining momentum, we may need to wait for the end of next year.

   Felt that Zelensky will never take peace as the Far Right Sector/Azov are very strong and will oppose antiwar. If anything, instability will happen immediately when it is over. Very precarious time right now and I couldn’t imagine a sustainable government immediately postwar.

6. The deal russia gave them in 2022 looks real sweet now. Neutrality, no NATO, can join EU, limited military numbers, unlimited reserve. Now they are going to lose a huge part of the country and countless lives. Thanks EU you fked Ukraine real good by telling Ze to go into this war. As trump said you don’t go into a war with a naked ass begging for weapons. Should have accepted the 2022 Istanbul deal, so many lives could be spared….
