For the ignorant amongst us, can you explain what a radical book fair is?
Edit: dunno what the downvoting is about, I’m genuinely curious. Can a man not ask a question anymore? 😂
It’s giving USSR vibes
Not sure if it’s mills & boon or antifa tbh
Is this a Communist event?
>Our Committee believes that following on from successive radical bookfairs that there is a need to create a space to provide a point of contact for those interested in engaging with radical politics and its literature from anarchism, socialism, feminism, green, queer and revolutionary syndicalism.
Wow so radical!
USSR-themed book fair?
Brace yourself. they’ll likely be pumping in the eau-de-cadaver of the freshly bayoneted Romanovs – still warm from the Urals, blended with the byproduct of last week’s rations ie – kapusta, state vodka and gnawing disillusionment- for that all-important whiff of authenticity.
“Five stars comrades on TripAdvisor (or else…)..”

Radical opinion: Invading the USSR cost Germany WW2.
I wonder if this [classic](https://amzn.to/47QxhHD) will be on sale, under which category is another matter.
If it’s Nazism or Communism it can f right off
Any titles by Solzhenitsyn?
Will they have any used harry potters?
Cringe. ACAB🤣
Miserable bunch on here. Looks cool, best of luck with the event!
Good luck with it comrades ! Plenty people angry about the state of society at the minute. This literature can combat the belief and lies peddled by the establishment, such as it being poor brown peoples fault that the world and capitalism is currently in free fall.
Will the People’s Front of Judea be in attendance? What about those splitters the Judean People’s Front?
Agree to disagree on whether the distinction is important, but the phenomenon is absolutely the logical result of authoritarianism. which is why radical book fairs are important because people can read their Kropotkin and Bookchin and Graeber and learn why authoritarianism should be resisted.
Applebaum’s a strange one. Long-standing correct opinions about Putin (although I think she views him more as crypto-KGB than a wannabe Tsar, which I think is wrong) but also totally happy to take her wages from the SVR via the Legatum crew. Allegedly.
