OMG! We’ve been annexed and are now the 51st state!
Nothing is sacred now
Americans seem obsessed with the stuff in fairness. I’m not sure if the amount of times I see it on a US tiktok/reel is because of genuine use or because they get to do the whole “this is so hard to pronounce!!” bit for the video but I can’t remember the last time I saw one with a Brit using it to cook.
Just out of shot they’ve also got lightbulbs, the Internet, etc, etc
I never promised you a rose garden?
Sacrilege.
Wooster-sheer…..
Come on it’s not that hard!
Gonna start a fight. Henderson’s relish is better. There I said it 😅
Canadian here. The North American versions are, as you might guess, sweeter. I prefer the original UK version, which tastes better and has better ingredients.
Oooh! Worst sister sauce,!
Wait until you find out what British foods aren’t local. Even Worcestershire sauce could be argued as a cheaper version of garum from Ancient Rome.
😂
I never promised you a ~~rose garden~~ bottle of American-made Worcestershire sauce.
Not to be used as embalming fluid
Typical yanks trying to claim something is theirs
I was delighted to find it on sale in Mexico as “salsa inglese”
This is a knock-off. The USA version comes in a paper sack.

It’s okay, they’re only allowed to buy it if they can pronounce it first

Context: world foods section of an Italian supermarket
Regardless, it’s no Henderson’s Relish.
Only povvos use [Roy’s Sister Sheriee’s Sauce](https://youtube.com/shorts/AvvT1L0XRaE?si=Iz7aWXWUQSQpheOm).
“But we are in your garden”
But we are in your garden?
It’s cos they use it for embalming fluid
Plot twist: That quintessentially American A.1. Sauce is actually British.
Sauce: Wikipedia
Do Americans also mispronounce their own Worcester?
