Argentina turns to US for help to solve Javier Milei’s triple crisis

1. From what I understand, Milei is spending money he doesn’t have (also borrowed from IMF) to finance his economic agenda. Now the coffer is drying up (surprise, surprise!), he turns to America to bail him out. My guess is that he will get it one way or another, Bessent said Argentina is an important ally, so more American taxpayer money will be wasted. This is kinda funny given that Trump admin campaigned on slashing foreign aid, but I guess it’s too much to expect consistency from them.

2. I don’t think we have much to offer except more corruption.
