   Edit. 49 bus drivers texting while driving and ended up destroying more bus stops than just diving safely.

6. I strongly advocate for customer service staff being allowed to fight back without fear for their jobs. Bus drivers are no exception.

7. A bus driver I know was stabbed (with a sharp implement not a knife thank God) and the police car came, saw it wasn’t terrorist-related and then drove off leaving him on the floor!

   This was because a buggy was left downstairs alone with bags on the handles and fell over.

8. It’s insane that the protective screen isn’t even enough to stop this kind of violence. Drivers absolutely need better safeguards and the company’s backing if they have to defend themselves.
