There was a warm welcome for TV personality Fred Sirieix in the south of the country this week, who was particularly complimentary of Wexford’s homegrown fresh strawberries and locally farmed oysters.
Continuing with the theme and success of the Road Trip series, where the French man starred alongside Gordon Ramsey and Gino D’Acampo, Fred said he wanted to continue exploring, and is doing so by diving deeper into his own heritage, and the cuisine and culture that it entails following results of a genealogy test that revealed his DNA is 6pc Irish.
