  14. War on the ground is nasty and ugly. It’s not like dropping a bomb from 20,000 feet, or shooting an artillery round 5 miles. Infantry work is ugly, dirty and personal.

  22. I don’t know if they did the right thing but you can’t condemn the operator. I don’t know the context.

    Sure, he’s an invader but it’s horrible to watch a man face his end with such placidity. The drone didn’t try to kill him right away… why didn’t he try to surrender? Maybe it wasn’t possible and they both knew it.

    So damn tragic.

  24. I don’t know the hovering next to him was just the operator toying with him or having second thoughts , but shit… this is sad.

  25. Imagine being a drone operator in this war and the weird PTSD that’ll come afterwards from kills like this. So many of them are now immortalized on the internet and for these guys they’ll always exist to haunt them when theyre older. At the same time though, I’d wager its pretty easy to justify each kill considering what happens to areas under russian control.

  26. This is way to far honestly, see in the he beginning a lot soldiers were proud to be invading. Here we are 4 years later Putin clearly losing and he resorted to drafting. Idc what anyone says this guy could have been drafted not volunteered idgaf how anti Russia you are but this is no different from killing an innocent Russian man who has no say in matters.

  30. Just downright depressing. Rest in peace sir, sorry you were even there in the first place. Maybe you volunteered, maybe you didn’t, either way you should have just been home with your family.

  31. A part of me really wants to believe that the operator was aligning his line of trajectory to his head to give the poor bastard a quicker end. I hate this fucking war.
