but really, I'm quite glad I didn't.

I can go to Tesco with my cock out?
Is it because all the naked people you met were miserable grumpy gits who were not at all enjoying the experience?
As opposed to complex nudity?
It’s never the kind you want to see.
In this weather anaw, braver man than me. It’s a shame you didn’t see the most popular man at the nudist colony. He can carry a coffee in each hand and dozen ring doughnuts.
Bit chilly so not much to see today
What is classified as ‘complex nudity’ then?
Call me a coward, but I’m not scanning any QR codes left by nudists. God knows what they take you to.
The only law around it is offending public decency. If you’re not doing it in a way which can shock or upset a reasonable person, then it’s totally legal. If someone comes into an area where they know there may be naked people, that’s their choice.
The trouble with encountering nudists is, it’s that you always run into the ones who’ve been practicing it for 60+ years …
What if I just walk through Newcastle town centre naked
Really don’t know how they have the confidence, or the trust I feel like mosquitoes and insects would be way more stressful if you’re just walking around exposed to the air.
And it seems risky to potentially expose your genitals to stinging nettles.
Really didn’t expect it to be legal though.
What about Scotland?
A herd of wild naturists galloping gracefully through the woods
In this current weather, I can’t help but admire anyone who wants to enjoy nature *a la nature*. Good on them.
The best contrast I ever experienced was on Anglesey. We were on the beach at the foot of the dunes, sister and her friend topless, me in a bikini, Mum and Uncle in tshirts and shorts. A young french family (Mum, Dad, son) were playing with a ball further down, completely naked. Down by the sea a large (obviously) jewish familiy were walking, covered from head to toe, wigs, yarmulkes, the lot.
So I can legally sunbathe naked in the middle of Hyde Park?
Where was this? My erm mate wants to know. Yeah that’ll do
I live in Portsmouth and there’s a yearly naked bike ride for charity that would cycle past my work place
Serious question, because I’ve never encountered a nudist/naturist: are you allowed to look, or is it considered a bit harrasy?
I live near Studland and part of the beach has been a nudist beach for over a century (advertisements have been found dating back to the 1920’s, so it predates those).
There are three possible ways to get there, an across the sandy beach from the car parks are other end (a one mile walk) or across the dunes from the road (depends how close to the footpath you can find somewhere to park). So all three routes are a long walk, with signposts before you get near stating that “clothing is optional” after a further distance, with a final “clothing is optional beyond this point” just as you get near. And it says “STUDLAND NATURIST BEACH” on Google Maps, so there is really no excuse not to know.
And EVERY year there are complaints from tourists about how they were “shocked” and “outraged” to see naked people.
Look, you had to walk a long way from the car park to get to the secluded area where the naturists were OR you used the path from the road and had to climb over a sand dune or two to get there. Plus THERE ARE WRNING SIGNS!!
FFS….
I bathed naked in a area that’s popular for that sort of thing, it’s also quite popular with tourists… Anyway I was completely oblivious just enjoying the nice cold water on a hot summer day but my boyfriend noticed a family of American tourists that were absolutely furious lol. He told me the mum was dragging her kids away absolutely enraged and saying they shouldn’t have gone there. The dad was embarrassed and the kids were confused and the youngest one was crying 😂
I mean at least they put signs up lol. I don’t particularly want to see random people naked, but if I’m given fair warning I can just avoid the area.
We are such prudes as a nation.
Be the change you want to see in the world OP
