  1. They were turning the tables on Russia already. That shitstain has little to do with it

  2. Wtf are they talking about back on side they aren’t offer Ukraine any actual help so they get no actual credit

  3. Ukraine should use all the help it can get from this development, but never trust the guy for one second.

  4. Bandwagon President for sure. Not to mention, the amount of Ukrainian lives lost due to his stalling for Putin tactic. I hope at the end of the war (and I know this will not happen) Zelensky will say thank you to Biden and Americans but purposely leave Trump’s name out.

  5. Everybody needs to calm down. In a couple of days, Trump will be saying the exact opposite.

  6. Al trump has or ever will give are a few minor words of support. It means nothing because he is still allied with Putin. Trump thinks that he is the cunning one and that he is duping America. Perhaps so, but his addled mind won’t let him be president for much longer.

  7. > Kyiv’s new strategy targeting oil refineries offers fresh hope for breakthrough with Moscow’s economy crippled by US tariffs

This has been a months-long effort starting with degrading Russia’s air defenses, and Trump’s recent about-face has nothing to do with it.

  8. Trump is on the sidelines and might be providing intelligence support and selling weapons, but the financial and weapon support is primarily coming from Europe, who is spending billions buying American weapons along with sending their own.

  9. The only side Trump is on is Putin’s. He is already using his recent seemingly-pro-Ukraine remarks as a springboard for attacking NATO and trying to drive a wedge between Ukraine and its allies.

This is not in any way interesting or new. It’s rhetoric that has been coming out of Medvedev’s and Lavrov’s mouths since the beginning. Now it’s coming out of Trump’s mouth but that doesn’t mean anything aside from that the Kremlin is increasingly backed into a corner.

  10. We are missing the sleigh of hand by the USA here.

Breaking their commitments and not doing everything Putin says is now considered “back on side.”

Back on side would be what Biden was doing. Even that was imperfect, but they were definitely on our side.

  11. All bullshit until weapons flow to Ukraine.

Krasnov will not let that happen.

  12. I hope Ukraine can make good use of the next week and half before Trump flip flops again after his next one on one with master Putin.

  13. Until the dementia makes him change his mind again.

  14. Treat him like the weather. Proceed when conditions are favorable. But be ready for rain tomorrow.

  15. I wouldn’t give Trump credit for anything just yet. He talks out of both sides of his mouth. One call from Putin and the bromance could be back in in a heartbeat.

If anything Trump sees this as his only shot at getting a Nobel Peace Prize. He doesn’t care about anything beyond that.

Even though it makes a mockery of the prize, if I was the Nobel committee I would just tell Trump that if he helps Ukraine get their land back they’ll give it to him, if not he can always ask to look at Obama’s.

  16. Trump is not back on Ukraine’s side. Watch what he does. Disregard what he says.

  17. Yeah until he flips again two minutes later.

DJT (THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!) and the entire nation he pretends to stand for can’t be trusted for the foreseeable future.

No thank you, a sugar-rushed toddler is more reliable at this point. I think I’m speaking for most Europeans when I say that our trust in the US is gone for the next few decades.

  18. Everyone, please remember that Trumps comments are like sand on the beach, shifting with every new wave. Until we see some concrete actions, I wouldn’t be celebrating. remember all those deadlines.
