MINSK, 25 September (BelTA) – Belarus is eager to achieve even greater progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov said at the high-level event on climate action in New York on 25 September, BelTA has learned.
The minister noted that the consequences of climate change are not as critical for Belarus today as they are for many other countries. At the same time, Belarus shares the general concern about this phenomenon.
