  1. Cyprus has deployed Israel’s Barak MX air defense system amid rising tensions with Turkey, shifting away from Russian arms after the Ukraine war. This is the second system delivered since December.

    The Barak MX can intercept drones, jets, missiles and more, with ranges from 35 km (MRAD) to 150 km (ER).
