The City Corporation is so intent on using every square inch of their square mile for office space, I’m surprised that they haven’t started dismantling and moving those churches outside of London.
Other countries: Let’s move that very old building over there somewhere nice
London: Let’s suspend that old tower of a long fallen down church 50ft above a construction site at a cost of millions.

Supported on steel frame not balanced… This type of thing happens in every London house being reconstructed. Steel supports prop the upper floors while steel beams are being installed to form a frame.
If anything this church is more stable than it was before.
