Telling him he’d get a knife and kill the dude, comes back and attacks him with said knife.
No jail while others get jail or hefty fines for being mean on the internet. Thats *majorly* fucked up.
Edit: Oh, and the dude who burned the damn book got in trouble too? Damn
>Coskun was convicted at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in June of a religiously aggravated public order offence.
No idea why populists are gaining more and more momentum, really.
Are British judges overly lenient for islamists because the law tells them so or out of their own volition? Are British judges chosen by and responsible before politicians? I think some bribery by people interested in destroying Europe is involved.
It’s like they’re intentionally pushing people to the extreme right with this shit
Absolutely deranged how people will bend over backwards not to offend the people worshiping a warmongering pedophile.
Islam is such a harmful ideology to western societies, it should be outlawed not protected by corrupt judges and politicians.
I’m far-left but atheist in me says that we should keep burning religious books so long it no longer seems like a tabo.
Makes sense, jailed for a tweet.. but literally attacking someone with a knife gets you nothing.
Deus vult!
This is woke nonsense, you can’t even say your’re English nowadays without being arrested, we used to be a country…etc
So, is you pull a knife while claiming to defend Islam it’s a little bit naughty?
Leftis downvoting this… what is wrong with them?
UK is a shithole. They will be a Muslim nation before the end of the century.
I’d like to hear some calm legal commentary to this whole incident.
I dont mean details on the proceedings. I mean a legal analysis with emphasis on the law itself, legal theory and principles.
What is interesting here is that both victims/perpetrators of the assault and provocation represent themselves truthfully. Neither deny their actions or motives.
Also the campaigners seem to be straightforward about the whys and whats.
Was the Quran burner committing a crime? What crime specifically and how are such cases legally determined? Is “provocative” a legal concept, or just an oglff hand remark by the judge?
If the quran burner was comitting a crime, does the fact that the knife wielder confronted a criminal in action reduce the severity of this actions?
I would also like to know how much is a matter of law/courts and how much is a matter of executive policy via the Crown Prosecution Service.
I wish we still had real journalists left. Whatever your sympathies, demystifying these would be really helpful.
Man i want to burn whatever book i want. Everything else means we failed as society and we allowed others to impose their way of life on us.
Who knows why reform is so popular? (Fuck reform too btw)
and it is the protester who risk going to jail? And after they are wondering why normal sane people revolt
2 tier kier strikes again
Uk is social experiment on this point. It deserves to be set on fire, where is Caligula when you need him?
Average day in the UK
The UK has become such a shithole, it’s the subject of memes all over Facebook and X and Instagram, a once great country turned into a literal shithole
Sorry, but if a 20 pound book is worth more to you than the life of a human being I don’t believe you should be allowed residence in Europe. Believe what you want but if you have to defend your god or holy book with violence you are not at the wrong place. That shit should no longer be tolerated in Europe.
This is how you prove to the world there is two tier policing. This is how you create the next Hitler. Well done, inbred labour communists.
Absolute moral bankruptcy of liberals and leftists
For those that didnt read the article – the man burning the Quaran was convicted for doing so even though there are no blasphemy laws in the UK.
At this point the UK is officially a sharia state. I hope the woke judge gets some sharp encounter himself too, he’s provoking the people with his absurd rulings so he would not have anything to complain
This is beyond fucked
Islam is outwardly opposed to western ideology on a fundamental level. This is an absolute farce.
Welcome to Londonistan, Europe is a lost cause.
And this is why we’re getting very right wing politicians.
They are going to have riots and they will call them racists for wanting justice. What a joke of a government.
So you can get a 2 year jail sentence for a tweet but be let off for stabbing someone who burned a book?
