  1. Trust me no they don’t. So many have been replaced including our own. They are hard to refurbish to modern standards. Of the five in a five mile radius only one has survived.

  2. That could literally be the one from my childhood.

  3. Well, this took me back about 30 years. Thanks for the nostalgia hit!

  4. 3 different establishments look like this:
The Town Hall, the old Primary School, and the Church. No exceptions.

  5. 2 of 3 of my secondary school halls looked like this…

  6. Aye, with a shiny floor, perfect for sliding across the dance floor in your socks when you’re a wean.

  7. I don’t know where that is but I know I’ve donated blood there and also voted.

  8. This is also my old school hall. The only difference is the windows where on both sides and the stage slightly protruded

  9. thats a nice one, the one i was in recently had hideous post-modernist lighting and calling. tiles

  10. Recently went to Threlkeld in the Lake District, where they proudly tell visitors that their village hall has exploded twice in the last 150 years.

  11. I remember the days of going to youth club in a room very similar to that and the tuc shop would be at the back, good times.

  12. The one in Lydney has a sprung floor like a Blackpool ballroom 🪩

  13. Very recently renovated though, look how thin that speaker is!

  14. visions of playing a shephard in a christmas school play

  15. Honestly though why is it that so many look this exact same way? Were they all built by the same organisation?

  16. That looks just like every primary school hall I’ve ever been in

  17. I swear if you told me this was my primary school assembly hall I’d believe you. This is so unnervingly accurate! The floor, the curtains, the stage, everything.

  18. Pretty sure this is my junior school assembly hall Lol
