How Israel’s West Bank strategy aims to bury Palestinian statehood

1. What I find very interesting is how mainstream news like Reuters are, for the first time ever, frequently reporting things accurately. NYT and Fox excepted, of course. Less than ten years ago reporting was so biased that [almost half of Americans believed that Palestinians were occupying Israel](https://www.irmep.org/polls/content/03092016_US_Occupation_copy.asp) (and yes, a lot of Zionists think that to this day). Now there is still tremendous bias (Israelis are **killed** but Palestinians **die**) but overall accuracy has improved, so much so that no one will print a headline like “October 7 was a genocide but what Israel is doing is not.”

   Support for Israel has dropped like a stone because of this accuracy. College kids read up about this ‘conflict’ and the history of Zionism and come to the conclusion it is evil and unjust and colonialist. I think western media were expecting they would cover only the Hamas attack and atrocities, spread Israel’s atrocity propaganda and then step back as usual while Israel mass murders Palestinians. It hasn’t worked out this way due to the internet and social media. When newspapers found the internet was out-reporting them they were forced to cover what was happening.
