The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business announced on the 26th that it has successfully completed the “2025 Small and Medium Business Leaders Forum,” which was held for four days from the 23rd with more than 400 small and medium-sized businesses from regions and industries attending.

Under the theme of “Challenge, Innovation, World to Future!” the forum embodied the global expansion and future growth strategies of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Lotte Hotel area of Jeju. At the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Kim Min-seok gave a video congratulatory speech, and Seong Sook Han, Minister of SMEs and Startups, gave a policy lecture on Smart Manufacturing Innovation 3.0 that AI will open for about 40 minutes.

At the ‘Strategic Seminar on Small and Medium Businesses’ held the following day, △Bani Lee, president of Hanmi Bank, △ Park Ki-hong, chairman of Herb International Insurance, △ Scott Lee, partner attorney at LBBS law firm, △ Matt West Garden Grove, deputy manager, attended the meeting to provide information on U.S. finance, insurance, law and administration and discuss support plans for small and medium-sized companies wishing to enter the U.S.

In addition, Hiroshi △ Mori, chairman of Japan’s National Small and Medium Business Organization, attended the forum and emphasized the importance of cooperation between Korea and Japan to respond to common issues such as low birth rate, aging population, and U.S. tariffs.

“I hope the Leaders Forum will be a time to find new growth engines to overcome the crisis for small and medium-sized businesses struggling in difficult economic conditions,” said Kim Ki-moon, chairman of the Korea Federation of SMEs. “We will invite small and medium-sized businesses with more fruitful programs next year.”
