At his General Audience on September 24, Pope Leo XIV invited Catholics around the world to join in praying the Rosary every day during October for the cause of peace in our world:

“Dear brothers and sisters, the month of October is now approaching, and in the Church it is dedicated in a special way to the Holy Rosary. Therefore, I invite everyone, every day of the coming month, to pray the Rosary for peace: personally, in the family, in the community.”

The Holy Father also announced a Rosary for Peace will be prayed in St. Peter’s Square on October 11 as part of the Jubilee of Marian Spirituality.

Bishop Michael F. Burbidge also encourages all priests and parishioners in the diocese to call upon the intercession of the Blessed Mother. “The Rosary is one of the most powerful devotions entrusted to us by Our Lady,” he said, “and in these turbulent times, it remains a sure path to peace, conversion, and deeper love of Christ.”
