  21. Always been curious about holidays like these. Do you spend a lot of time on the boat or is it more so you can travel about in comfort, visiting a bunch of villages and that sort of thing?

  22. This chemical toilet is a Saniflo 33. Now, this little babe can cope with anything, and I mean anything. Earlier on I put in a pound of mashed-up Dundee cake. Let’s take a look… Not a trace! Peace of mind I’m sure, especially if you have elderly relatives on board.

  23. My brother sold up his home in London for a canal boating life. He works remotely and never liked the stationary life that comes with home ownership. We all called him mad. But I stayed on his boat for a week when my home was flooded and I have gotta say… I think we, home owners, are the actual mad ones!
