i loved the twist ending of The Sixth Sense, where they revealed that Bruce Willis would be going back to making shitty movies. Didn’t see it coming!
The one M Night movie I like
I’m on her side. I wouldn’t call it horror.
It’s a story about marriage
I thought the same thing never occurred to me to think it is a horror movie.
I’m just going to imagine she’s talking about Hereditary instead.
I agree with her, I always considered it a drama.
The scene with her and her son in the car is world class acting
I still love this and Stir of Echos with Keven Bacon
is it horror though? clever writing with carefully planned twists perhaps
I wouldn’t call it a horror film. Supernatural thriller maybe
As are many horror stories, Toni.
The Village cemented M Night as a guy who just does big twists but imagine if The Village came out before 6th Sense. Instead of being kinda forgettable, people would have been talking about it for months/years
But it’s not a horror movie.
Same, I saw it at 11 yo and wasn’t scared at all, and never though of it as a horror film, more like a suspense or drama one with supernatural elements
I don’t like horror movies and I love the sixth sense
TIL The Sixth Sense is a horror movie. Who woulda thought?
Admittedly it has been a while, but I remember it being more of a mystery thriller type
I don’t think any of M Night Shalaman’s movies are horror. Just suspense movies with a twist.
I’ve seen it and I didn’t think it was a horror film either.
I thought it had some horror elements. The girl in the tent…the boy with his head blown off…the people being hung at the school…the ghost dude inside the trap door/closet.
I can call it horror.
Shaft was a movie about the friends you make if you just put yourself out there.
I don’t see it as a horror film.
I get a lump in my throat just thinking about the conversation they have in the car about her mother
