He emphasized Moscow’s unwavering commitment to defending Serbia’s sovereignty, highlighting what he termed “systematic attacks” against the Serbian populace in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo. Lavrov lamented that the West’s disregard for UN Security Council resolutions exemplifies a broader pattern of undermining sovereignty and meddling in internal affairs.*

    *Addressing concerns over NATO’s intentions, Lavrov reassured the international community that Russia harbors no plans to assault NATO or EU territories. He criticized the alliance for dismissing Russia’s calls for legally binding security guarantees, warning that any aggression against Russia would be met with resolute resistance.*

    The grandeur irony in all of this is that Russia took part and was invited to contribute to the peacekeeping missions in newly partitioned Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo. Furthermore, the West actively turned a blind eye to their atrocities in Chechyna and Blair even sold the Russians arms. So to act like there was diplomatic efforts to foster friendly relations from the West towards Russia is cacophony.

    The other ironic part is that Russia is currently invading a sovereign state because of “NATO aggression” yet they are expanding their borders closer to NATO military bases by drilling through Ukraine.

    My prediction for headline in 2025 November 29: Lavrov accused West of causing constipation, turning frogs gay, and the declares NATO airspace intruding on free-flying Russian Migs unacceptable.
