A little article to put things into perspective against all the rage spewed by the usual characters.

TLDR: NI population essentially stagnant, growing by only 7.4k across the region with Belfast & Derry (the two largest) growing by less than 2k each between 2023-2024.

By contrast, the south saw it's population grow by 98.7k in the same period.

  1. Also asylum cases (Which is who they mean when they say “illegals”) were around 3k, which is a far cry from the “flood” that grifters and race baiting thugs would have you believe. It’s manufactured outrage to distract the people from the massive transfer of wealth, corrupt and inept successive governments and the deregulation that’s happening in America. (Which will affect us since Starmer is likely to use Palantir as the data company for his bullshit ID plan.)

  2. The powers that be want us to be turning on each other to deflect and stop us turning on them. But these facts will not have any impact on some people. It’s thummuns fault why I’m skint and my life is shit

  3. I think at this stage of the game, anybody still bleating on about how “illegal immigration” is the biggest problem going, particularly in Northern Ireland, isn’t interested in reading any of this. Anybody who actually reads this, will already know that immigration, never mind the “illegal” type, isn’t an issue here.

It’s 2025. Knowledge/information/education is more accessible than ever before. If you believe the shit Farage or Yaxley-Lennon come out with and don’t have the brain capacity to Google it yourself, you’re beyond saving at this point.

  4. Northern Ireland’s population is projected to peak at 1.95m in 2033 and then start declining.

Migrants tend to favour a strong economy and a settled political situation. Why would anyone move here when you could move to ROI or GB? But sure – ULSTER SAYS NO TO FOREIGNERS

  5. I’m curious, how do you think they could count illegal migration statistically?

  6. UK Population 2024 69.23 Million

    NI Population 2024 1.9 Million

NI represents 2.7% of total UK Population

    UK Population growth in 2024 = 755,000

If the population growth was evenly spreadout throughout the UK the population growth in NI would be 20,385 instead of 7.4k.

Immigration in the UK tends to go towards the urban parts of England not so much rural England, Wales, Scotland and NI.

If ROI Pop 5.3 Million had the same population growth rate as the UK (0.93%) it pop would have increased by 50,000. The ROI Pop growth rate is nearly double that of the UK

  7. The flow of migrants to the North seems almost only to get to the Dublin. They don’t seem to stay. The Irish government has said recently that the vast majority of migrants claiming asylum are flowing from Britain, across the Irish Sea and down to Dublin. If those screaming about a migrant crisis, wish to stop that flow, start backing a United Ireland. It would close that flow very quickly with ID checks going in-place at ports and airports on both sides of the Irish Sea.

  8. I can’t help but feel every time I see all these ‘illegal immigration’ N.I YouTubers that I see a fear that loyalist drug dealers are scared of losing their grip on their communities so they use these wee mouthpieces. Just my opinion.

  9. Don’t know your source but this article states https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c36k02xnrlyo a 7.5k difference between June 2023-June 2024. Obviously, population isn’t only affected by immigration – emigration, births and deaths are huge factors so solely tying population to immigration is a bit shortsighted

  10. BUT-BUT THA CANNAE BE TRUE, THERES MOOZALEMS IN NEXT DOOR AN A SAW A BLACK MAN IN ASDA AN HE HADDA KNIFE BUT IT WAS JUS AN UMBRELLA BUT DER RAPIN OUR WOMEN SO THEY ARE

  11. People are misled with media and online content pushing agendas not facts.

  12. 0.4%? Holy shit. How will we ever cope with that? It’s not like we’ve got a shit load of empty fields lying around waiting for homes to be built. 😅😂

I really don’t understand why people are so crazy about this recently.. more people just makes us a bigger and stronger economy.

  13. We’re getting airport expansion so we’ll get lots of underpaying and outsourced jobs, new infrastructure and toll booth so they make can make more profit.

  14. Sinn Fein doing their best to destroy the future of our children & grandchildren with mass immigration policies.

  15. >So, like everything, we interpret the data to suit our perceptions.

This tube is doing the exact same thing he’s criticising others for.

Firstly – we have no fucking idea how many undocumented people are here. The journalist just shrugs this off as if it’s nothing.

Secondly – even if the net figure was accurate (it’s not per above) drawing conclusions from it alone is dumb as fuck.

No effort to look at where that 7.4k has come from. How much change due to births? How much change due to deaths? How much change due to emigration? How much change due to immigration?

What age groups decreased vs increased? What implications will that have on tax, health care, housing etc?

Population growth can be net 0 for a given year but demographics can change. If 100k NI pensioners die this year and are replaced by 100k people from a culture with a high birth rate, what impact will that have 10, 20, 50 years from now?

And lastly, look at his picture hahaha

Anyone who agrees with this trash article should lose their right to vote.

  16. But what about the DUP’s legitimate concerns?!
