Oh the good old days. Just wish there could have been a lot more of this….
Looking at how destroyed Russian air defense is, Bayraktar can soon be sent on extensive missions again.
Wonder what ever happened to all the Bayraktar’s that Ukraine had? Is it just now used to monitor the border with NATO for illegal crossings?
My favourite TB2 footage from Ukraine was the video of them destroying 2 BUK missile systems with it
It’s crazy to see footage like this again and to be reminded of just how colossal the destruction must have been for Russia’s attack. The cost of that attack has to have been staggering. Not just the tanks and vehicles but manpower too. It’s insane that they’ve kept at it for so long with such an obvious blunder direct from the start. Imagine if Ukraine had been better equipped and prepared for this attack? Russia would be licking its wounds wondering if they’ll be able to get their own territory back.
Not Ukraine. Azerbaijan.
I remember the first few weeks when these things were wreaking havoc, and then how quickly they became completely irrelevant and unusable.
Just shows how fast war adapts, and how different platforms can be really useful in certain threat environments, and useless in others.
So surreal seeing such large groupings of troops compared to modern day where its just small squads all over the place
Suddenly the death toll that Ukraine reports doesn’t seem so outlandish.
The early days of the conflict was a wild time. We had some videos but not like this. Full platoons of Russians getting blown up. That first strike looked devastating. As did the 3ed. At least 10 guys closest to that tank just disintegrated
I’ve been following everything from day 1. I remember these videos. I couldn’t believe the footage. Single file columns, hundreds of vehicles deep. Out of fuel, out of food just getting hammered by Ukrainian drones and artillery. Russia would have steam rolled Ukraine if they had deployed these forces more meticulously. As they saying goes, we’re lucky they are so stupid. Early punishing attacks like this really allowed Ukraine to get some free vehicles and supplies left abandoned by retreating Russian forces.
Imagine if we had delivered the whole arsenal the second Russians crossed the border. Tanks, Artillery, HIMARS, ATACMS.
Ukraine had unlimited targets and nothing to hit them with, and the Russians sat in massive traffic jams, running out of Oil and Food.
Ukraine could have inflicted 10x the Casualties if it wasn’t for Western “escalation management”
Could you imagine if Ukraine’s FPV drone tactics were as mature as they are today.
I swear this footage was posted the first day of the war here and it turned out to be from Syria 2020 and not from Ukraine.
Imagine if Ukraine had been mass producing FPV drones in the lead-up to the invasion.
This does put a smile on my face.
Welcome to Ukraine, okupantiv.
