‘We will get it done’: Trump to push Gaza peace proposal in Netanyahu talks • FRANCE 24 English

For their families, it’s devastating news. Hamas’s armed wing says it’s lost contact with two hostages. One a soldier captured on October 7th. The other kidnapped from Nile Oskaboose, a husband and father of two who appeared in her mass propaganda video in April. The Adasam Brigades, Hamas’s military wing claims it lost contact with the hostages because of Israel’s offensive in Gaza City. It’s calling for a ceasefire. The lives of the two prisoners are in real danger. Israeli forces must immediately withdraw south of the 8th Street and hold all air operations for 24 hours starting at 6:00 p.m. today to allow attempts to rescue the prisoners. Israel did not respond, but it’s adamant it will not halt its advance. Its army spokesperson is warning of new air strikes on alleged Hamas bases. On Sunday, Israeli forces destroyed a multi-story tower nicknamed Mecca. Despite the ongoing offensive, US President Donald Trump says a deal may be close. We have a real chance for greatness in the Middle East. All are on board for something special. First time ever, we will get it done. A 21point plan is reportedly under discussion. It includes a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, the release of Israeli hostages, an Israeli withdrawal, and future governance of Gaza without Hamas. Benjamin Netanyahu in an interview with Fox News expressed cautious optimism. Well, we’re working on it, Jackie. It’s not been finalized yet, but we’re working with President Trump’s team actually as we speak, and I hope we can uh we can make it a go because we want to free our hostages. We want to get rid of kamas rule and have uh them disarmed, Gaza demilitarized, and a new future set up for for Gazins and Israelis alike and for the whole region. Sticking points remain. The Israeli prime minister has expressed doubts about the Palestinian Authority governing Gaza if Hamas is removed. Netanyahu is scheduled to meet with Donald Trump at the White House on Monday as Washington looks to move the negotiations forward.

US President Donald Trump is set to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington on Monday to push a Gaza peace plan. Trump claims a breakthrough is near, but Netanyahu has vowed to continue the war and reject a Palestinian state.

  1. peace may be possible only after elimination of radical Islamic elements and it's terrorism from the roots.

  2. “For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.”

“Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

There will be no peace until the Prince of Peace returns to set up his kingdom. Pray for that day, when HIS will is done on earth, as it is in Heaven.

  3. If President Trump is instrumental in helping to negotiate peace in the Middle East, it would be wonderful, and if this happens, the hateful Democrats will NEVER credit him for his role in this, count on it, they will find a way to bash him, as they ALWAYS do!
