  2. What an amazing person. I’ve know of her all my life and every once in a while will hear stuff about her. Her dedication to chimpanzee is beyond what I can fathom anyone can dedicate their lives to anything.

    I don’t actually feel sad for some reason. It just seems that she lived such a worthy life and that there is nothing she needs to do more of in a person’s lifetime. Not sure I make sense but that’s just my feeling.

  3. This woman changed my life. I must have borrowed The Chimps of Gombe a hundred times as a kid. As an autistic kid I had very little intuitive understanding of others – her analysis of primate behavior gave me the tools I needed to understand and analyze the behaviors of those around me. Now I support the behavioral health of others professionally. I owe her everything I am and the world is poorer without her in it.
