Mississippi always up near the top of the worst categories.
Oh but DC didn’t need any help!
Unfair for Missouri to have both KC and St Louis.
Gee, I wonder if DC’s relatively high murder rate has anything to do with the fact that the entire administrative region is urban
Kansas here – you might as well turn us white and draw Missouri to the left 1 county.
I’ve seen this like 5 times already in the last week
Why isn’t Trump sending troops to New Orleans or Little Rock?
Or backwoods Arkansas where all the MAGAts live. They’re not as innocent as people think. Look at that weirdo that drove his jacked up truck into a church.
Weakest guns laws strongest impact.
Imo This color scale is whack
After spending some time in this sub, I’ve decided Mississippi is the worst state. They’re last in every good stat and first in every bad one.
There goes my home state of New Jersey being so lawless and dangerous with its Democratic trifecta in Trenton!
I would love to see Nevada without Vegas in it. I’m curious how much that one city impacts the statistics
I mean, honestly, this explains a lot when you think about it. DC being the exception, southern republican states are statistically rife with violent crime, it’s only natural they’d think us heathens in Minnesota or California are even worse off, given the “looser moral code”. Especially since they don’t bother to look at the actual data.
I’d like to point out that Utah has a weirdly high amount of homicides in relation to road rage.
Oregon may be fine in general but Portland is a war zone. It’s been burned to the ground. Roving bands of fentanyl-addled zombies and Antifa supersoldiers prowl the streets. It’s gotten so bad that most businesses close overnight and people just sleep until sunrise. Some breweries have closed and the price of coffee beans has gone up. The Unipiper has to blow flames from his bagpipes to keep unicycle-jackers at bay. Many farmers markets are going to close for the winter. It’s a really desperate situation here. If you’re a conservative and know how to read, please don’t come here, and petition your representatives to not send in the National Guard because Voodoo Doughnut and Salt & Straw won’t be able to keep up with demand.
Law and Order really overrepresented NY crime.
So what’s up with DC then, why so much there?
The uneven intervals and the color for 15-20 is bothering me.
If they’re going to ramp up, maybe make it consistent?
Now check the poverty rate by state.
So many people here seem to think 25 murders out of 100,000 people is worse than 5 murders out of 10,000 people.
Alas, why we’re so fucking cooked and why the right wants to keep attacking education even more.
