Russia attacked Ukraine on the night of 1-2 October using 86 strike UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera and other types of drones.

Details: Early reports indicate that as of 09:00, Ukrainian air defence destroyed or jammed 53 Russian UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types over Ukraine’s north, south and east.

Strikes from 31 drones were recorded at six locations.
The air assault was repelled by Ukrainian aircraft, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups from Ukraine’s defence forces.
