Brigadier General Hossein Nejat, deputy commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Tharallah Base, said in an interview,”After Operation True Promise II, the IRGC Aerospace Command and relevant units focused all their efforts on improving the level of readiness and eliminating deficiencies. Before the recent attack, the IRGC forces, especially in the aerospace sector, had identified the enemy’s defense systems and operational plans and had prepared ways to bypass the technical layers designed for defense.”
According to him, “this preparation significantly increased the capabilities of the forces compared to the previous situation at the time of the clash, and resulted in effective strikes against sensitive centers of the Zionist regime.”
The Tharallah Base deputy commander added that, “Weaknesses during the previous [June] the 12-day Sacred Defense have been examined and tackled and shortcomings have been made up for and corrected. This process of reviewing and strengthening the structure has ensured that if the enemy makes a mistake again, it will face a stronger response.”
