Megyn Kelly Reacts to FIERY J.K. Rowling Post Aimed at Emma Watson Finally Speaking Out on Trans

So JK Rowling after years of holding her tongue has finally shot back. She says, “I want to make a couple of points. I’m not owed eternal agreement from any actor who once played a character I created. Uh Emma Watson and her co-stars have every right to embrace gender identity ideology. However, Emma and Dan in particular have both made it clear over the last few years that they think our former professional association gives them a particular right. nay obligation to critique me and my views in public. Years after they finished acting in Potter, they continued to assume the role of de facto spokespeople for the world I created. When you’ve known people since they were 10 years old, it’s hard to shake a certain protectiveness. For the past few years, I’ve repeatedly declined invitations from journalists to comment on Emma specifically. Ironically, I told producers I didn’t want her to beounded as the result of anything I said. Emma asked someone to pass on a handwritten note from her to me, which contained the single sentence, “I’m so sorry for what you’re going through. She has my phone number.” This was back when the death, rape, and torture threats against me were at their peak, and I was constantly worried for my family’s safety. Emma had just publicly poured more petrol on the frames of flames, yet thought a oneline expression of concern from her would reassure me of her fundamental sympathy and kindness. Like other people who have never experienced adult life uncushioned by wealth and fame, Emma has so little experience of real life, she’s ignorant of how ignorant she is. I wasn’t a multi-millionaire at 14. I lived in poverty while writing the book that made Emma famous. I therefore understand from my own life experience what the trashing of women’s rights in which Emma has so enthusiastically participated means to women and girls without her privileges. The greatest irony here is that had Emma not decided in her most recent interview to declare that she loves and treasures me, a change of tac, I suspect she’s adopted because she’s noticed fullthroatated condemnation of me is no longer quite as fashionable as it was. I might never have been this honest. Adults can’t expect to cozy up to an activist movement that regularly calls for a friend’s assassination, then assert their right to the former friend’s love. Emma is rightly free to disagree with me and indeed to discuss her feelings about me in public. But I have the same right, and I’ve finally decided to exercise it. She could not have said this more perfectly, better, more powerfully, or more in in a more damaging way for Emma Watson. She deserved every bit of scorn.

  9. Spoken like a true grown-up. These young actors, for far too long, have been exalted/protected and made to feel righteous in their self importance. Now, they are starting to realize that their farts actually stink and can’t reconcile the smell.😂
    Hats off to J. K. Rowling for finally deciding to show up to the party. Her mom like protective nature has finally given way after a repeated deluge of self-righteous indignation from the very CHILDREN, her talent exalted and launched into stardom. Talk about ungrateful. I’ve heard of “biting the hand that feeds you“, but “participating in hatred that calls for the execution of the hand that fed you“ is beyond over the top.
    Finally, deciding to halfheartedly act as if you’re a human being after your publicist shows you a public opinion poll, is the height of a toxic sociopathy. These assholes are quite literally EVIL. SMH.

  12. Jk Rowling inspired me to write my own books. I think she’s BRILLIANT!! I’m so glad she has called these people who she mentored and made famous out, for who and what they really are. BRAVO…they probably wouldn’t be rich or famous if not for her. It’s disgusting how their ideology doesn’t affect them but does to millions of others. They don’t care about the average person because their wealth was reaped at a very young age. Who knows it sounds like they probably have handlers and are totally BRAINWASHED. BUT BE AWARE…THE TABLES ARE TURNING AND THEIR HATEFUL WORDS AND ACTIONS WILL EFFECT THE REST OF THEIR MINUSCULE LIVES.

  14. Do any of you actually know what Emma Watson said? Take a look at the original post made back in 2020. She said "Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned or told they aren't who they say they are." No attack on JK Rowling. Rowling however has made multiple attacks on Emma Watson over the years.

I literally JUST saw a clip from a podcast where Emma was crying about how basically she had to learn the hard way that when she goes to work on a set, that her co-workers didn’t want to be friends and that they were only there to gasp do their jobs. The way she was speaking about this experience where she felt rejected by others on movie sets who didn’t want to be her friend (i 💩 you not the exact words she used were that the experience was “bone breakingly painful” )- you would have thought she was sharing a traumatic experience she had as a prisoner of war in Afghanistan or something.

    All of the comments on the video were like oh wow she’s so brave for being so vulnerable and she’s such a good person blah blah! And I commented like – unpopular opinion but why is she talking about this experience like she was the victim of a heinous crime? And I literally said that it really exposes how unbelievably privileged her life has been that this is her idea of adversity.

    It trips me out that like a day later I’m watching this and JK Rowling basically said the same thing (but in far more eloquent wording!). I’m so glad she finally put both Dan and Emma in their places, but Emma especially. I’m so glad she called out her BS virtue signaling and exposed her for who she really is. JK Rowling is and always has been the GOAT!!! She truly is a master with her words.

    Final note – one of my absolute favorite speeches of all time was the speech JK Rowling gave at the 2008 Harvard commencement on the benefits of failure. I watch it like, once a year lol anytime I feel like I’ve failed at something and it always gives me the hope and motivation I need. It’s such a beautiful speech. To anyone who has made it this far in my comment – 1. I appreciate you and 2. I highly recommend listening to it if you’re a fan of her! ❤

They come off with a” let them eat cake” persona which ruins the character roles they play or the music we enjoy, and makes them look like really good liars, or hypocrites .   44. You should watch the film “This is the end” Emma plays herself & it’s a movie about revelation (from the Bible) & it happening in real time she was one of the humans left on earth to face the evil – mmm maybe the dudes that made it & are in it are on to something 🤔
