    Those military leaders should’ve arrested that fucker right there and then. People should be in the streets daily in much more massive numbers. General strike. Hit them in the wallets, they only care about $$ so if you affect the 1%ers pockets, watch how fast they stop supporting fascism. Idk what else to say other than we need to take action, remove him and his whole mayonnaise cabinet by any means necessary.

    Any excuse by inciting a disturbance to declare Martial Law and suspend the Constitution and Bill of Rights. It’s a work in progress, folks.

    An epic and dire test of our democracy is in the works. Unfortunately, the script was in the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025. Shouldn’t be a surprise, but people don’t read, too busy to be involved or know how our government works anymore. On top of that, 1/3rd of our population doesn’t even care to vote, since they don’t know or show interest in the issues that will affect them or even the issues that are at stake.

    Democracy dies with a distracted and disinterested population under the illusion of propaganda. Democracy is messy and complicated. It takes a lot of work. Dictatorships are easy, but miserable for the masses as it is well shown and documented throughout history.

    The founding fathers understood the risks when they birthed our amazing Republic. The success of our incredible Union in personal rights, protections and unequalled economy was not fueled by cruel chaos, division, hatred or inhuman violence.

    We have a choice to make at this moment. Don’t dawdle and don’t cower. Be the Patriot our democracy and our Constitution demands.

  17. He won’t scrap the elections. Too obvious, too much push back.

    Instead aside from voter suppression on steroids (millions will be struck from voter rolls last minute in close states with Repub state control I guarantee it) he will declare fake emergencies and with the precedent he is now setting he will use the National Guard to selectively make it harder if not impossible for certain places to vote. Imagine how easy Pennsylvania will be to win if half of Philly votes can’t be cast.

  20. WW2 Churchill. Skipped/postponed election. History has precedent. Drumf and his people aren’t following existing rules. If Americans can’t see the writing on the wall by now…

  22. States run elections, not the federal government, so it’s impossible to cancel them.

  24. There is no constitutional mechanism to allow for a president to stay in power for longer than 4 years.

    That said, Trump is currently constitutionally disqualified from being president, but he’s the acting president anyway, so the constitution apparently only matters when we want it to matter.
