  1. I love both William & Eugene. Reluctant Traveler is so hilarious. One of my favorite episodes have been him in Ireland & Finland. I bet they both got on really well & I’m glad William felt comfortable enough to share more personal bits. I’ll be tuning in

  2. I sometimes forget how old William and Kate are until I did the math and realize that, oh, yeah, William WAS the right age demographic to watch a vhs tape of American Pie with his friends.

  3. I didn’t see a lot of bombshells in the article. The only thing that may ruffle some feathers are the comments about changing some of the old traditions. I know he wants to reach a younger generation, but it’s the older, conservative monarchists who love the Royal Family the most.

  4. Sounds like he’s actively throwing bombshells at them, I was expecting quotes like: “George you’re my least favorite” “Kate I’ve always hated your hair” “Louis I ate all your snacks” 🤣🤣

  5. This is a bit sad. He’s echoing a lot of what Harry has said in past interviews, especially in regard to not passing the pain on to the younger generation. If the two sat down and had a proper conversation (as oppose to a shouting match) they’d probably reconnect on a lot of things.

  6. It’s nice to hear from William directly about light hearted moments we’ve never heard before.

  7. V curious what some of the Royal reporters think about William doing an interview here first and not with any of them. He did a small one during Earthshot last year but this was obviously much longer.

I’ve had a theory that he’s been avoiding them simply because you can’t control the questions and they will ask about Harry and the feud which I don’t think he wants to publicly comment on. Because before that, we used to get clips of them answering questions and speaking to the press on occasion, or documentaries on milestones, but it’s been crickets. But not doing interviews means you also can’t really share anything, soo very interesting choice.

  8. Meh, I don’t think anyone expected William to be like “Well personally I don’t see the point of monarchy but I’m already here so…whatever” lol.

Nothing new here, bland and vanilla as usual.
What is interesting is that he’s doing these interviews. He did another one when he went to a football game, though that was just about football.

He definitely seems to be leaning into the whole “relatable and accessible royal” persona (which I hate).
Curious to see if more of these start popping up.
