  1. She is a beautiful woman who needs to burn that boring gray suit

  2. She looks lovely when interacting with people, and sometimes smile the hardest.

  3. It’s okay to have less of a smile.

Lol, keep downvoting. The press needs to normalise not having a super smile on her face.

Edit: wow, folks. It’s not binary and I don’t want her sad or miserable.

  4. Thank you for posting these lovely pictures of Kate.

  5. Has to get rid of the sky high heels with a pant suit. Very dates and so not stylish. A cool pair of loafers would be great and so much more comfortable. I don’t get why she keeps wearing those heels with pants

  8. Great pics! She´s so loving and caring. I love that so much about her.

  9. Ooooh look at her hair. I wonder if she did it herself.

  10. The negative attention and scrutiny we direct at women is truly horrific, so far across multiple posts about this particular appearance we have had more “smile less”, “cut your hair” and “stop wearing heels” comments than we have about why the PoW was actually there, making her first appearance as Royal Honorary Air Commodore.

I get this is a gossip page, I understand there will be opinions about wether or not people liked her suit or blouse or whatever, that’s all fine when done from a place of genuine style and beauty opinions but a lot of the comments really cross the line from objective comments and personal view points into, and I hate to use the term as I think it has misogynistic connotations, ‘bitchy’ and nasty judgements.

Just a few examples from comments on this and similar posts in this forum about her visit to RAF Coningsby:

***”I think she is doing the cackling thing because she is not ok”***

***”She’s been smiling like a maniac in every photo I have seen recently”***

***”Looks like the Kim Jong Un photoshoot”***

***”She needs to cut her hair and start over… her hair is too long the colour is awful”***

    ***”Its a hairpiece”***

***”Its so cheap looking”*** (about her hair)

And these are the comments still standing, I have seen far worse that were thankfully deleted.

Can we not do better? Not liking an outfit is one thing but criticizing a woman for things intrinsic to her, like her hair and her facial expressions, just feels really unnecessary, surely we are better than this?

  11. I can understand how these people stay relevant. The easily amused can take something as banal as a photo of a woman smiling with children and think it is great.
