President Donald Trump has posted an AI-generated music video featuring a cover of Blue Öyster Cult’s ‘(Don’t Fear) The Reaper’.
The new AI video, featuring his Budget Director Russell Vought and Vice President JD Vance, was posted on Trump’s Truth Social.
This bizarre post comes in the wake of his threat to use a temporary lapse in government funding to enact permanent cuts to the federal workforce. In this way, the Trump administration can punish workers at agencies that are, according to their own data, staffed by people who did not vote for him or his party.
Trump recently said he would meet with the Office of Management and Budget Director “to determine which of the many Democrat Agencies, most of which are a political SCAM, he recommends to be cut, and whether or not those cuts will be temporary or permanent.”
The video was created by the pro-Trump Dilley Meme Team, who have deemed themselves “Trump’s online war machine”. As per their website, they share, “Our content generates millions and millions of views. Often shared by the man himself, and played at the rallies, we’ve been fighting fake narratives of the commies and fascists for years – BY ANY MEMES NECESSARY.”
The video is a symbol of Trump’s attempt to consolidate control in the Oval Office. He continues to present himself as a leader, playing a cowbell in the video as part of a band with skeletons as fellow musicians and Vice President JD Vance on the drums.
In other Trump news, his team has threatened that ICE will be in attendance at Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance. The Department of Homeland advisor Corey Lewandowski shared, “There is nowhere that you can provide safe haven to people who are in this country illegally. Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else.”
