My husband went to a 2 yr trade school. He started off making 50k a year 16 years ago, which was good then, with GREAT benefits. Now he’s making 125k a year with even better benefits including life insurance for both of us. He took out student loans for his school which he is still paying BUT it’s only $85 a month not hundreds a month.
Don't we look foolish begging people to enter the trades and have babies? When you educate stupid people too much you end up with everybody believing they are too good to do laborious tasks as being part of the work they do for an income.

A trade job gives you skills way beyond your education…
Most university students can ONLY do the job they're trained for, too often not even that 🤷
6 figure electricians are a dime a dozen
If I wasn't too old I'd love to go myself!
I had a desk job in my early twenties, I went to trade school at night to be a welder and my FIRST WEEK as a welder I more than doubled my weekly pay 💰
TRUE STORY 👍
. I paid my daughters college if you have a child you must see to their future, my daughter is now a practitioner with two clinics of her own in the beautiful state of Texas 🙏🇺🇸🇻🇳
The rich raise money 🤣🤣🤣🤣☝️hear this of all the money they raise they only donate 1% the rest they keep it ☝️☝️☝️☝️
You don’t see trades people living in wealthy neighborhoods. I rest my case
It's a great option unfortunately it's not going to be the option for everyone. Everyone can't be a carpenter, electrician, a plumber etc. There just aren't enough jobs. It just simply ignores the fact that something needs to be done about the cost of college. Seems to me that supply and demand still applies to labor so if you had 10 times more electricians and plumbers in the marketplace that would only devalue their work or they just get less work.
Manual Skills are VITAL
Thats a genius level move
Make Trade Schools Great Again
I remember the trades being highly respected. Now it seems you have to have a degree, and a title to be anyone. It's not enough to have a good job, a couple of kids, a little house, and enjoy life.
TRADING SCHOOLS WERE AWESOME…THEY TOOK THEM AWAY BECAUSE OF GREEDY CAPITALISM 😢😢😢😢😢..BRING BACK THE TRADE SCHOOLS..
Who owns the trade schools?
My daughter went to career day at a votech school.. She was talking to a nurse that taught the License Practical Nurse class.. LPN class.. She told the nurse she wants to be a doctor.. She told my daughter don't do it.. The malpractice insurance and the cost of schooling will put you keep you in debt forever.. She literally talked my daughter out of becoming a doctor.. This nurse liked my daughter a lot and took my daughter under her wing.. She will guide her into a good career.. without being in debt.. you can become a doctor's assistant in the medical field she wants.. You will don't need malpractice insurance with no huge student debt.. The pay is near that of the doctor..
Take the votech LPN class. Apply for a Pell Grant.
This will pay for your class.. books.. equipment and uniforms.. test fees. The class is (it was 9 or 12 months) When you graduate you will college credits.. take the test to get your license. Go to work at a hospital under a contract.. Take the money you earn , pay for your college classes.. Do not take out any student loans.. Under this contract, the hospital will reimburse you for your college cost.. Take every work shop and any other special classes.. These classes will help you earn a higher income.. through the hospital.. Working and going to college will take a little longer.. Once you get your are RN license.. Do your best to get into the ICU .. AFTER 1 YEAR IN THE ICU.. APPLY TO BECOME A CERTIFIED NURSING SCHOOL. This is a 3 to 6 month class. When you finish this class your income will be around $100,000 a year. Depending what field you CERTIFIED in. Without ever going into debt..
This is the direction my daughter too… My husband, her step dad and step sister thought this was a stupid plan.. They thought just take out loans get it over with.. My husband signed for all of his daughter's loans.. She had no direction in her career. Five years at a junior college.. This is five years at a junior college.. Bad choice in career classes.. She couldn't get a good job.. She thinks it's a good idea to follow her brothers into pharmacy school.. She just knew she was getting in because both of her brothers were now pharmacist. Thinking she could get into pharmacy school with no problems.. She couldn't even pass the interviews… Her next choice go to nursing school for one year at an expensive college.. We went to her graduation. My step daughter-in-law.. Said be careful what you say to her.. She has been crying all day.. She just found out she owes $100,000 in student loans.. She has no idea how to pay it back.. My husband almost had a heart attack.. He signed for every loan.
I didn't have to sign for any of my daughter's student loans.. She didn't take out a single loan.. She got her RN license.. Two months ago she started her ICU job.. He has 10 months before she can apply to go to RN certification school. No debt from student loans. Her step sister will be paying off her loans for ever. Where the hospital will reimburse my daughter for all of her schooling under her contract.. She gets back every penny she spent on her education.. Basically a free education.. She can basically use the huge reimbursement to buy a smaller home.. or huge down payment on a larger home.. All because one kind nurse who taught the LPN class took her under her wing, and guided her in a debt free education.. She made sure my daughter walked a straight line.. After a major test.. My daughter was one of only three students to even pass the test.. Everyone else had to retake the test.. My daughter asked to retest for a higher score.. Her mentor told her no.. Making sure she stayed humble.
When my daughter went to the medical board to get her license.. The test was 2 parts. 100 question on each part.. After the first part was over.. They called her name and told her to leave.. She comes home crying.. They told me to leave. I either passed or I failed.. She was begging for $100. to get early access to her grade.. She was so upset.. I knew she would continue crying until the grades came out.. I gave her the $100 Best money I ever spent. She got 💯 on the first test.. The second part wasn't actually a grade.. it was more of a common sense test.. Because she passed with 💯.. They didn't think she needed to take the 2nd part of the test. If you failed the first part there was no need to take the 2nd part. I UNDERSTOOD WHY SHE WAS STRESSING OUT. I am so proud of her.. She did all of this on her own, under a guidance of a mentor giving her a direction.. goal…
Hats off to all mentors and Mike Roe for raising money for students and giving direction to students so they could get a good education without going into debt.. To bad colleges are so greedy.. offering useless degrees.. leading students in the wrong directions.. Sometimes going straight full-time college students isn't a good thing when you go into massive amount of debt..
We need to bring Trade Schools back.🎉

I wax a C B kid and I went to trade school to learn AC I was a big guy so resadental sucked so I end up at sams club but I then went to motorcycle repair school and got a job for a few years and end up back into do AC as a duct installer doing commercial duct work then I got layed off after 5 years around 2011 I went to another tech school and got my CNA so I have been doing nursing home work for the last 12 years and one day I could get my LPN nurses have a lot of responsibilities with drugs so Im not ready to do that at 50 years old but I think I could have done better in life but if you can find a trade and stick with it you'll make it college was always a bit of a joke to me I knew a few girls that went to HCC community college and then USF to go be teachers and there doing ok some better then others but the money and the debt
Trade schools are a much better option. I have a couple of brothers who completed apprenticeships and earn much more than I do with a masters degree.
Trades are the base of the economy.. blue collar workers, the middle class, those that started at the bottom and worked they're way up and remember where they came from.. but, you gotta work! Nobody wants to work in the trades anymore, because it is hard work and it will be what you make of it.
I had white privilege my father taught me how to weld and fabricate which gave me the fundamental skills to be at the same job for 38 years and actually enjoy it
Trade school educates not indoctrination
Need people with skills America not a piece of paper. Let's get back to work. 🇺🇸🫡
Instead of wasting time in high school we should go straight to trade school so when you graduate after 5 years you actually say you have experience.
She is going to be the new face of fox in the next 10 years. That's how bad fox is getting😢
To each their own…
It was difficult to watch and listen to whatever you were trying to say because your glasses were most distracting.
Skilled traded are so in need of good candidates! They are a great job, great paying and they can't be shipped overseas or replaced by AI!
