A Cop Stepped In When She Had No One

Hey, what’s going on? I’m pregnant. I’m homeless and I’m druggotic and I’m done. Okay. So, you’re trying to get treatment? Yes. [Music] But I have no way to get there. Which location do you have to go to? The one on Gizen High Street. Okay. First up in the back of my car. Just put it right here. You have anything in your pockets or anything? Just a phone. Okay. You want to go get a burger on the way? Are you in a huge hurry to get in there or you want to take an extra 10 minutes? I’m fine taking an extra 10 minutes. I’m always hungry. All right. So, what would you like in white cas? A couple cheese cider. Okay. Anything else? You want to make it a meal? Yeah, that’s fine. Okay. Would you like to sit down and have your food or you want to come out? What do you mean? Yeah. If you want to come out and stand up and eat or if you want to sit down, I don’t know if you’ve been hearing up on the hood of the car. Thanks. Here you go. Is it always going to be about No. You know, it’s funny. When I was a kid, I’ll take the trash over there. I’m going to get rid of this one. I think. All right. Let’s get you down there so I don’t get in trouble for taking too long. Yeah. Okay. Thank you very much. You’re welcome. And hey, this young lady is very pregnant and [Music] all right. [Music] Thank you very very much. You’re welcome. I sing.

  11. Good Evening, This officer deserves person of the year. I know it’s a simple act of kindness, but he didn’t have to, he chose to.

    I drive a semi-truck across the country, have been since 96’, when I got out of the Marines.

    Truth is most people hate me, they don’t allow us to use the restrooms at most shippers and receivers anymore.

    I tell the young guys and gals, find another occupation, I’ve lived in a box for 30 years, only to be transferred to a smaller box eventually.

    Next time you see guy or gal driving a truck, just a friendly “hi” will go a long way.

    Kindness is everything in life.

  12. I hope she did well and living free of addiction. I know personally some really beautiful people that grew up in addiction homes but were able to get free after a decision to get clean. Praise God for them and their influence on others.

  19. That there is how I remember Police conducting themselves with compassion when clearly that’s what was needed! He saw the need and knew he had to act fast to get her the help that she was ready to accept!!

  21. They need to use this video to train the new officers cuz none of them act like this nowadays. Sorry police, it's true. I used to be friends with all the cops in my town and I was a troubled kid. Nowadays the cops wouldn't have nothing to do with the troubled kid besides taking him to juvie or jail
